24hr Winter Camping + Hot Tub

A winter outdoor adventure and skills building that you will never forget.  Our guided adventure will teach you snowshoeing, fire building, staying in a winter hot tent, how to use camping equipment, dressing for the outdoors, and some fun luxuries like trying wood fired hot tubs- all with an experienced guide/instructor.

We start the day meeting at the town’s community centre, with a brief intro and to review gear (provided), food and attire, and ensure guests are prepared before setting out.  We will then drive in separate vehicles 2km to our private parking area.  We then snowshoe 2km into the camp on a groomed trail.  When we arrive we will go over all steps to safely setup and camp in a canvas hot tent.  After lighting the wood fired hot tubs we will set out on another 2km snowshoe around the property to explore the riverfront and waterfalls on our 150 acre property.  After the snowshoe we will have lunch and I will leave guests for a couple hours to enjoy the wood fired hot tubs.  Before dark I will come back to the camp to show the lighting systems around the camp and to light a campfire to enjoy with the guests.  I will leave around 8pm and will be camping a 5 minute walk away.  I am always available by phone.  I will be back at 9am to make coffee/tea, to gather things and snowshoe out to the parking area.  There is breakfast available at a cafe in town.
